Pixel Lineage lives and HP are different
Lives are the hearts shown as a count such as 3/3 in the castle HUD. HP is the current/maximum health shown in combat. Healing HP does not replenish a lost life.
The supplied castle capture shows three lives. OyO’s beginner guide also describes a character starting with three. Check the counter on your active hero before another run.
What happens when you fall in battle?
The reviewed YOU HAVE FALLEN panel gives two choices. RETURN HOME explicitly says you lose one light and wake up at home. CHEAT DEATH offers a purchased revive with 50% HP. Read the offered price before deciding; the capture does not show a completed purchase.
The same panel says rejoining keeps you fallen until you choose. Leaving and joining again is therefore not shown as a free revive.
The captured defeat happens with three lights still displayed. It does not show the final-life outcome, deletion of a character, or which equipment is retained at zero. Do not rely on an assumed reset or automatic recovery when only one life remains.

Check the castle Inbox for life gifts already attached to your account. OyO describes code-granted lives waiting there until needed; the supplied Inbox screenshot shows a +1 LIFE reward marked FULL at 3/3, with the note that lives wait until claimed.
When below your life maximum, open the eligible life reward and use its row’s CLAIM action. Confirm that the active hero’s life counter increases. Claiming ordinary Gold or Knowledge gifts is a separate action.
The Goblin Merchant’s RESTORE ONE LIFE entry restores one lost life to the active character, up to its maximum. The inspected video quotes R$250, a Robux purchase rather than a Gold purchase. Prices and available gifts can change, so check the current menu.
Codes may offer lives when the developer makes them available. This page does not promise an active code or a fixed reward. Check the official game/community announcement and the displayed redemption result.

Goblin Merchant offers one lost life restored to the active character up to its maximum; the recorded quote is R$250. The code field is separate.

When HP is low, use available healing or the return-home option between encounters before selecting another dangerous route. These are survival choices, not extra-life rewards.
When only one life remains, first inspect the Inn and the game’s storage or transfer options for valuable equipment. This is a conservative precaution; the reviewed footage does not prove every transfer rule or every zero-life inventory outcome.
For combat healing and its run limit, continue to the separate Potions guide.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does an HP Potion restore a life?

Why is my life gift marked FULL?
